abstract
Dose response experiments were performed to quantify the significance of three antioxidant enzymes to growth of the cyanobacterium Synechococcus elongatus PCC 7942 under different oxidative stresses. Our results generate new insights into the functions of the sodB, katG, and tplA genes in an oxygen-evolving photosynthetic organism. note
